William Shakespeare stands known for his conventional and dramatic style play. Which is exactly what stood delivered in Othello demonstrating how jealousy, lies, and deception can end fatally. Iago feels hatred towards Othello because he gave Cassio the position of Lieutenant and he feels that he stayed further qualified than Cassio. Another reason Iago holds anger towards Othello existed for the reason that he was a Moor, however still received additional respect than him. In addition, the rumors of Othello sleeping with Iago’s wife seemed to be quite unsettling for him even though there was no proof. Lastly, Iago just seemed to relish being foul. The jealousy and trickery created by Iago resulted in the murder of Desdemona, Cassio, Emilia, Iago, and the suicide of Othello. People can experience many misconceptions daily, which can spiral out of control through jealousy, deception, and dishonesty resulting in irreversible actions. The impact of jealousy remains harmful to relationships consequently for the most part jealousy leads to actions that go out of control. Jealousy is comparable as a monster or cancer strong, hateful, and aggressive. Here Iago expresses his anger towards Othello for choosing Cassio, which does not have the experience that Iago has, therefore, making Iago further qualified for the position of Lieutenant:
