My personal values specifically play a crucial role in life as they shape the way I interact with others. My values are learned and shared by influential people like our parents, guardians, and from our culture. My personal values portray the way I act, think, behave, and influence other people. They form as the foundation of my entire well-being that impact the way I live my life. My personal values include responsibility, respect, loyalty, ambition, courage, and discipline. My values shape me as a person.

The health care costs have increased due to the state-of-the-art, and expensive medical technologies that some of them were unwarranted of their needs. The costs of health care services are increasing, and the prescription drugs that most insurers do not cover. These skyrocketing costs have resulted in problems in the health care system, and have become the current’s serious health policy concern. Medical technologies offer a continuous treatment and prevention of diseases. However, medical technologies have largely contributed to almost half of the expenditures in health care costs. The people who are most threatened by these costs are the disadvantaged populations. Since, they cannot afford health care, they have limited access to medical technologies, and vulnerable to deadly diseases.
I believe that political leaders and policy makers can help alleviate the rising costs in health care by offering people the universal health care necessary. The government must keep a high degree of participation in the delivery of health care services and access based on people’s rights and not on the purchase of insurance. In terms of reduction in costs, it is more practical to put a limit on creating new technologies as they require higher funding. For instance, creation of human cloning is still pending, as it offers more disadvantages than advantages. In fact, the churches and religious groups like Christianity and Judaism do
